How much economic impact does CMAT produce?

CMAT clients reported a 95 percent approval rating in 2003, positively impacting South Carolina's economy in the following areas:

  • SALES
CMAT demonstrated an increase in sales impact of $56 million for its clients in 2003. This increase in new and retained sales impact results is attributable to the many CMAT services performed for the small manufacturers of South Carolina.

  • COST SAVINGS
In addition to sales, CMAT helped manufacturers increase their bottom lines in 2003 with cost-savings measures that resulted in reported savings of $7.1 million.

  • CAPITAL INVESTMENT
CMAT clients reported $14.6 million in training investments, equipment and facility upgrades, and expansions in 2003 along with newly created jobs, all of which impact South Carolina’s payroll and tax revenue.
